Best Laptops for gaming under 600

Looking for the best laptops under 600 for gaming? I know, it can be quite frustrating when it comes to selecting the ideal gaming machine, and that too on a tight budget.

but that’s why I’m here, I have carefully handpicked the best laptops under 600 for gaming, gamers go through a lot of research and collect a lot of data before buying any computer or laptop.

Thats because they know that if they dont pick the right kind of device it’ll be “game over” for them. Get it? haha.

Anyway, i’m about tell you that you don’t have to have a high budget when buying gaming laptops. Obviously, the more money you spend on a gaming laptop the better it’s going to be, but what if i told you that its not necessary to spend thousands of bucks on gaming laptops?

What if i showed you the most affordable gaming laptops? You’d be surprised right? and these aren’t just gaming laptops, they’re also built to last.

This list has some pretty good laptops for gaming under $600, but that’s not all, these laptops can also be used for school, so in summary, you’re getting the best laptops for gaming and school as well.

Choosing a laptop for gaming can be a very daunting task, especially if you’re transitioning from a Gaming PC to a gaming laptop, then it’s even more challenging.

Because you kinda tally your Gaming Pc specifications with your new gaming laptop specifications and then you get confused and its all a mess.

To avoid all of that, ive made this list to help you on your journey to buying the best laptop under 600 for gaming.

But before we move on, you have to keep some of these things in your mind when buying your gaming laptop:

  • The Processor Model: The Processor is essentially the brain of your Gaming laptop, and when you’re on a budget, it’s even more difficult to choose a good processor, so what you can do is that you can set a threshold, for example, when choosing your laptop, aim for a 9th generation i5 processor or an equivalent.
  • The Ram: The ram is like the heart of your laptop, its responsible for handling all of the tasks and mainly alloting memory to your games. So you don’t have to go through long load times ( which can be very frustrating). When you buy a gaming laptop make sure that it has atleast 8gb of ram.
  • The GPU: The GPU (graphics processing unit) is what gives life to all of your games. It’s why gaming laptops are called gaming laptops. But why is it so important? thats because its a separate entity thats solely responsible to power up your games. And when it comes to Laptop GPUs, you need to be even more careful, so aim for a GTX 1650 GPU if you can in this budget.

With all of that clear, there’s still one last thing that you should see before buying your laptop. And that is the minimum specifications table that I’m about to show you. Trust me, it’ll be a lifesaver for you.

Moving on , this laptop is an absolute beast of a gaming laptop. You can enjoy every latest game on this machine.

The Processor

The Nitro 5 comes with an i5 9300h 2.4Ghz Quad core Laptop processor. But what does that mean? Let me explain

Code Named ” Coffee Lake”. This is the family of the i5 9300h processor, launched in 2019 and an 8MB Intel Smart Cache. The best part about this processor is that it has a turbo boost of upto 4.10Ghz , so no more lag in games!

With a total of 4 cores and 8 threads, the processor is more than enough to run your favourite games on high settings. The processor draws in an average power of 45W from your laptop battery which trust me, is a great number, resulting in a longer battery life.

It can support upto 128GB of RAM and also has Intel UHD Graphics 630! It has Direct X 12 support and Open GL 4 support as well.

But what does all of that mean? Let me show you.

i5 9300h Benchmarks
Source: CPUBenchmark

As you can see in the graph above, the CPU has a CPU mark of 7816. But what does that mean? It means that it’s equivalent to an i7 8th generation processor.

In short, the i5 9300h is a great gaming laptop processor.

RAM

Moving on to the ram. the laptop comes with 8gb of DDR4 RAM. The total number of ram slots in the Nitro 5 are 2. So you can upgrade the ram to 32GB if you want later on. The ram speed is 2666Mhz which is quite fast if compared to the DDR3 Ram which is outdated.

Storage

The Laptop comes with a 256GB Solid State Drive (SSD). As you guys know, an SSD is insanely fast and you’ll be experiencing extremely fast load times in your games and on your applications. No waiting on loading screens anymore, hooray!

The only downside is with the storage is that its only a 256GB SSD so you might need to upgrade it in the future, but it all depends upon how many games you install on your laptop.

The Nitro 5 comes with a Gigabit Ethernet technology so you could directly connect your router to your Laptop. That’ll give you less internet lag in games. It comes with a built-in microphone and 2 stereo speakers as well!

Got a meeting? use your speakers and microphone, gotta game? use your speakers and microphone! trust me this is a very cool feature of this gaming laptop.

Extra Features:

  • 1 USB 2.0 Port
  • 2 USB 3.1 Type-A Ports
  • 1 USB 3.1 Type-C Port

Windows Version

This Nitro 5 comes with a preinstalled 64bit Windows 10 home, which is compatible with all the latest software. But the good thing about it is that its fully upgradable to windows 11. And that too absolutely free of charge!

Graphics Architecture

Now here’s the main part. The Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54 gaming laptop comes with a 4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GDDR5 graphics card.

But what exactly does all of that mean?

It means that its a capable graphics unit. The Graphics Card was released as part of the Nvidia Turing Architecture. A memory speed of 8000Mhz and a 128bit Memory Bus.

The Graphics Card, with the Direct X 12 support- is fully capable of running all of the latest AAA titles on medium to high settings at 60FPS.

Nvidia GTX 1650 Benchmark
Source: Videocardbenchmark

As we can see in the graph above, the GTX 1650 Laptop graphics Card scores a 7105 on the G3D benchmark test.

This tells us that the graphics card is almost upto par with the GTX 1650ti Graphics Card. Also if you look at the benchmark for the i5 9300h and the benchmark for the 1650 you’ll notice that both of these units have a similar benchmark.

This means good news because these benchmarks correlate with each other and tell us that there’s not going to be any kind of bottleneck. Which in turn means that you can squeeze out 100% value from both your processor and your graphics card.

Display

The laptop has a 15.6″ Full HD LCD with a maximum screen resolution of 1920 * 1080px.

But that’s not all,

the display screen technology is IPS and comfyview as well.

Overview : Best Performance Laptop

Overall , i’d say that the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54 is a solid gaming laptop. It’s only 60 bucks above the price point of $600 but it has alot of the features of a good gaming laptop.

Which makes it one of the best laptops for gaming under 600.

Here’s a more detailed review of the Acer Nitro 5.

Pros
  • i5 9300H Processor
  • 8GB RAM DDR4
  • Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GDDR5
  • 15.6″ IPS LCD
Cons
  • 256GB SSD

2. Asus Zenbook 14 UM425-UG Gaming Laptop

Asus zenbook 14 gaming laptop
ProcessorAMD Ryzen™ 5 5500U Mobile Processor 6-core/12-thread, up to 4.0Ghz
Ram8GB DDR4
Graphics CardNVIDIA® GeForce® MX450, 2GB GDDR5
Storage Space256gb SSD NVMe
Windows Windows 10 Home
Display14.0-inch, FHD 1920 x 1080 Resolution 60Hz

The Processor

What makes this a great laptop is the processor. The Zenbook 14 comes with an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U Processor. The name of this processor is long, but so are the specifications.

The Ryzen 5 5500U Is a 6core 12 thread processor with 3MB L2 Cache, which means that this processor supports hyperthreading.

With a base clock of 2.1Ghz speed and a turbo boost of 4.0Ghz, this makes the processor extremely fine. And to top it off,

The Average Power consumption of the Ryzen 5 is 15Watt. Which tells us that the processor isn’t too heavy on the battery.

But that’s not the great part, the great part of the Ryzen 5 is that it comes with a Graphics Architecture by default. And Can Support a RAM size of upto 32GB.

Let me show you the benchmarks

Ryzen 5 5500U Benchmark
Source: CPUBenchmark

As you can see, the Ryzen 5 5500U outperforms the previous i5 9300H Laptop Processor by a significant amount. According to the benchmark, this processor is almost double powerful as the i5 9300h.

A score of 13,640 means that this processor is slightly better than an Intel i7 10750H processor.

So overall, I’d say that the Ryzen 5 5500U is the Perfect Processor for gaming laptops under 600.

RAM

The Laptop comes with 8GB of DDR4 Ram with a 2600Mhz Speed. But you might be asking, is 8gb enough for a gaming laptop? I’d say that it’s the bare minimum. So you should have 10GB of ram just in case.

In this Laptop, the ram is the bare minimum. But the good news is that It can be upgraded to 16GB of DDR4 Ram. So you can install 2 x 8GB sticks on your laptop motherboard.

But I would recommend that you let a professional do that.

Storage

The Zenbook 14 comes with a 256GB NVMe SSD. The storage isn’t much but it’s enough to store games. You can always upgrade the laptop storage so this is not something to worry about.

Graphics Architecture

The laptop comes with an Nvidia GeForce MX450 2GB GDDR5 Notebook GPU.

A Notebook GPU is a dedicated graphics card for laptops but the difference is that unlike a separate graphics card for a desktop, this one is a chip which mainly relies on the main laptop cooling system.

Technology Support:

  • Memory Interface: GDDR5
  • Nvidia Optimus Support: Yes
  • Nvidia GPU Boost Support : Yes
  • Nvidia Game Ready Drivers Support: Yes
  • Direct X 12 Support: Yes
  • Open GL Support: 4.6
  • Open CL Support: 1.2
Nvidia MX450 GPU Benchmark
Source: VideoCardBenchmark

When we see the G3D Benchmark test for this graphics card, it gives a score of 3750. If im being very honest, the score isnt much.

The GPU isn’t as powerful as a GTX 1650 or a GTX 1660. But it’s enough for playing Esports games such as Dota 2, WOW , CSGO or Valorant.

If you expect the MX450 to run the latest AAA titles then you are very wrong my friend, the GPU will barely be able to handle those games at Medium settings. Might be able to run them on low settings though.

If i were to measure the performance of the MX450 with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080ti, then I’d say that the 1080ti is 5 times as powerful as an MX450.

There might be a bit of a bottle neck because according to the Processor, the graphics card isn’t as powerful.

So in conclusion, try not to play GPU intensive games on the zenbook 14, they won’t run, however you can play older games that were released before 2017, and you’re good to go.

Windows Version

The Zenbook 14 comes with a Microsoft Windows 10 home, that’s great for running all kinds of games and softwares, plus it also comes with a free upgrade to windows 11.

Display

The laptop comes with a 14inch IPS LED Screen with a 90% Screen to body ratio. That’s very good for a gaming laptop under 600.

A 90% Screen to body ratio means that there’s a thin bezel and 90% of the screen occupies the body of the laptop.

The Zenbook 14 comes with a LED Backlit Keyboard and an Anti-glare display as well.

With a Resolution of 1920*1080px , you’ll be able to enjoy all of the games on a big screen.

Extra Features

  • 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
  • 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C
  • 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C support display / power delivery
  • 1x HDMI 2.1
  • 1x 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack
  • Micro SD card reader

Overview: Best Processor

Overall , the ASUS zenbook 14 is a good laptop gaming. It’s definitely not the best laptop but its a decent choice for beginners.

It has a very powerful processor, an adequate amount of ram and a good display as well, along with , of course tons of extra features.

Although the Graphics Card and storage isn’t much but they’re enough to run most games released until 2016-2017.

And its a good laptop for Esports as well.

Pros
  • AMD Ryzen™ 5 5500U Mobile Processor
  • 8GB Ram DDR4
  • 14.0-inch, FHD 1920 x 1080 Display
Cons
  • 256GB SSD
  • Nvidia MX450 Graphics Card

3.Asus ROG Zephyrus G GA502DU Used Gaming Laptop

Asus ROG Zephyrus Gaming laptop under 600
ProcessorAMD Ryzen 7 3750H 4cores/8threads 2.3Ghz
Ram8GB DDR4
Graphics CardNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q 6GB GDDR6
Storage Space512GB SSD NVMe
Windows Windows 10 Home
Display15.6 inch , FHD (1920 x 1080), 144 Hz, IPS

This is perhaps the best laptop on this list that I’ve reviewed so far. I know its a used gaming laptop but trust me , its the most powerful laptop under 600 for gaming in this list.

The reason I’ve decided to review a used gaming laptop is because there arent many new gaming laptops that are good under 600, so you need to buy a used gaming laptop if you want top notch gaming performance.

The performance is great, the processor is great, the graphics is very powerful, this is one of the most balanced best laptops under 600 for gaming.

The Processor

The Zephyrus G comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 3750H Processor. The Processor is a high end gaming processor with a base speed of 2.3Ghz and 4 cores / 8 threads.

But what makes this processor powerful is that it has a turbo boost clock of upto 4.0Ghz and hyperthreading enabled as well. But that’s not all, the Ryzen 7 3750H comes with a 1400Mhz integrated AMD Radeon RX Vega 10 Graphics Architecture.

This tells us that even if the laptop didn’t come with a dedicated graphics card, it would still be enough to run some demanding games like GTA 5.

Being an AMD processor, it’s natural that it would suck some power so the TDP is 35watts, but don’t worry its completely normal and it won’t have a big effect on the battery timing.

Let’s Look at the benchmarks.

Ryzen 7 3750H Benchmark
Source: CPUbenchmark

Looking at the benchmarks above, they tell us that the Ryzen 7 3750H scores a CPU mark of 8550. Which is great, considering the processors we’ve reviewed so far.

Apart from that the Ryzen 7 3750H Is almost equivalent to an Intel i7 10th generation Processor.

Overall, the processor is perfect to deem it the best laptop under 600 for gaming.

Supported Technologies:

  • AMD FreeSync™ Technology
  • AMD SenseMI Technology
  • DirectX® 12 Technology
  • AMD “Zen” Core Architecture

RAM

Like all the other laptops I’ve reviewed so far, this one also comes with 8GB DDR4 Ram. It’s also upgradable to 32GB of ram, a ram upgrade will make this laptop the perfect machine for gaming, and if you’re wondering “does ram speed affect FPS?” then yes, it does.

RAM holds alot of importance when it comes to FPS , but you don’t have to worry when buying this gaming laptop, because the ram is adequate to run all of the games.

Storage

Unlike the laptops we’ve reviewed thus far, this one comes with a 512GB NVMe SSD. The difference is the storage space. The ROG Zephyrus comes with enough storage to hold many of the latest games with ease.

Providing you a sense of relief because you can store your games and your work related stuff on the same storage medium, without having to rely on an external storage device.

Graphics Architecture

Here’s the real deal, the Zephyrus G comes with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660ti 6GB GDDR6 Graphics Card. This is the most powerful feature of this gaming laptop.

Why? Let me explain, the Nvidia GTX 1660ti is a high-end gaming graphics card, released in 2019, this GPU will enable you to play almost any kind of game on ultra settings.

And the best part about this GPU is that it supports VR as well. That’s right. A VR supporting Laptop. New ones can cost more than $1000 which makes this one the best bang for the buck laptop for gaming under 600.

The 1660ti Max-Q graphics card was released as part of the “Turing” architecture by Nvidia. Codenamed “N18E-G0”.

This Graphics card from Nvidia Boasts a core speed of 1140Mhz and a boost speed of 1300Mhz, which makes it insanely fast.

With a 6GB GDDR6 192Bit memory bus and a memory speed of 12000Mhz, the GPU delivers impeccable graphics performance.

Nvidia GTX 1660ti GPU benchmark

The benchmarks tell us that the GPU Scores a 9295 on the G3D Mark test. Which is amazing and gives a performance similar to the Nvidia RTX 2060 GPU, being slightly better than the latest Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU as well.

So overall, the Nvidia GTX 1660ti Max-Q GPU is one heck of a graphics card, and blended with the Ryzen 7 3750H Processor, gives zero bottleneck and delivers 100% gaming performance.

Windows Version

The laptop comes with a standard issue windows 10, perfect for gaming and working.

Display

The Zephyrus G comes with a 15.6″ IPS FHD Panel Display, showing you the highest quality of video frames and a big resolution of 1920*1080px.

Apart from that, the 144Hz screen response is going to be as smooth as butter and make everything look like its happening in real life.

Especially when it comes to Esports, the 144Hz feature will enable you to connect those headshots immediately, making up for an immersive gaming session.

Extra Features

  • Dual Speakers with Smart-Amp technology
  • USB Type-C Charging
  • Backlit Keyboard
  • 3x USB Type-A Ports
  • 1x USB Type-C Port
  • Webcam
  • Microphone

Overall, the used Asus ROG Zephyrus G is one of the best laptops under 600 for gaming, this laptop delivers the perfect gaming performance, which makes it one of the best laptops under 600 for gaming in this list.

The ROG Zephyrus G is one heck of a gaming laptop, even if it’s used, you should definitely buy it.

Pros
  • Ryzen 7 3750H Processor
  • Nvidia GTX 1660ti Max-Q GPU
  • 512GB NVMe SSD
  • 8GB RAM DDR4
Cons
  • RAM could be upgraded

4.Acer Aspire V17 Nitro Black Edition Used Gaming Laptop

acer aspire v17 gaming laptop under 600 dollars
ProcessorIntel Core i7-6700HQ CPU, 4cores/8threads 2.6 GHz 3.5 GHz
Ram16GB DDR4
Graphics CardIntel HD 530 + Nvidia GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5
Storage Space256 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD
Windows Windows 10 Home
Display17.3 inch, 3840 x 2160px resolution, IPS

Priced at $600 as well, this laptop is extremely powerful. The RAM, storage and display are ideally, what make this laptop slightly better than other laptops in this list.

However, in terms of balance, this laptop is a bit more focused on the secondary features so the Zephyrus G still remains the best laptop under 600 for gaming, in this list.

Moving on, the Acer Aspire V17 is not better than the Zephyrus G, however, it’s better than other laptops we’ve reviewed so far, almost equivalent to the Acer Nitro 5.

But , let’s move on to the main features now.

The Processor

Everyone knows that the 6th generation Intel Processors dominated the computer gaming world back in 2015-2016, every PC gamer was trying to get a hold of this processor.

Because Intel really delivered the best processor performance with the 6th generation Intel Processors.

So, the Aspire V17 comes with the iconic Intel Core i7 6700HQ CPU, belonging to the Intel “Skylake” processor family and released in the upper half of 2015, the i7 6700HQ came with 4 cores and 8threads.

With a maximum turbo speed of 3.5Ghz, this processor still competes with the i5 9th generation processor.

The i7 6700HQ Processor supports a maximum memory size of 64GB, and also comes integrated with an Intel HD Graphics 530 Graphics Architecture.

i7 6700HQ Processor benchmark
Source: CPUBenchmark

As we can see the benchmarks above, the i7 6700HQ Processor scores a CPU Mark of 6870, 1400 short of 8200 which is the CPU Mark of the i5 9300H, so its alright for gaming, not too bad and not too good.

The processor is adequate for running the latest games, obviously it’s not as powerful as a ryzen 7 or ryzen 5 but it does a good job.

So overall, the processor is fine.

RAM

This is the only laptop in this list that has a 16GB of DDR4 RAM. But why 16GB? why not 8GB? that’s because its complete, you don’t have to upgrade the ram.

That fear at the back of your mind “is 8gb ram going to be enough for gaming?” will finally start to go away.

And the best part about the ram is that the laptop has an additional ram slot so if you still don’t feel comfortable gaming on 16GB RAM, you can easily install another ram stick on the second ram slot and upgrade the ram to 32GB.

Storage

Unlike many of the gaming laptops in this list, the Aspire V17 comes with a 256GB SSD + a 1TB HDD. How Cool is that?

I mean just imagine for a second, a 256GB SSD to store your files and windows, and a 1TB HDD to store your games.

This might not be the best laptop for gaming under 600, but i assure you, it has some of the most amazing features, and the awesome SSD + HDD Combo tells us that.

Graphics Architecture

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5. A graphics beast of its time. The GTX 960M is a mid-tier graphics card released in 2015.

It belongs to the Nvidia Graphics Family of “Maxwell” architecture. With a core speed of 1059Mhz and a memory speed of 5000Mhz. The 960M is almost equivalent to a modern Nvidia GTX 1050 GPU.

The GPU has a memory module of GDDR5 ofcourse, like all the modern GPUs this is enough to run the latest games on medium – high settings on a 1080p resolution.

Nvidia GTX 960M benchmarks
Source: Videocardbenchmark

When we compare this to the above mentioned Nvidia MX450 Graphics Card, the only difference between the 2 GPUs is the amount of video ram. The MX450 scores a 3780 on the G3D Mark test.

While the GTX 960M scores a 3740 on the same test, but what makes the 960 better is that it’s specifically made for gaming, and of course, the additional benefit of increased video ram as well.

The benchmark tell us that the 960M is capable of handling most AAA games and will give a moderate amount of performance.

So in short, the 960M will be able to run the latest games on medium to high settings, with a bit of effort, this may not be the latest laptop under 600 for gaming, but it does a good job as a 5 year old laptop.

Windows Version

As one of the best laptops under 600 for gaming, obviously, the Aspire V17 comes with windows 10 home, which is enough to run modern games with no issues.

Display

Another feature that makes this one of the best laptops under 600 for gaming is the display ofcourse.

Infact, the display is the main reason that the Aspire V17 is on this list of the best laptops under 600 for gaming.

But what’s so special about the display? let me tell you

the Aspire V17 comes with a whopping 17.3 inch IPS display, but that’s not all, obviously, with the huge display panel, it naturally has a big resolution as well, which is 3840 * 2160px.

This means that the laptop is almost capable of running games on 4k. This is the most unique element of the Aspire V17.

The refresh rate of the laptop is 60Hz, the standard, but not to worry, the extraordinary screen size and resolution of the laptop compensates for that.

The laptop has the largest screen size and resolution among the best laptops under 600 for gaming.

Extra Features

  • SD card slot
  • USB 2.0
  • USB 3.0
  • headphone jack
  • Microphone

Overview: Best display laptop under 600 for gaming

So, the uniqueness of the Aspire V17 comes in its display. The extra ordinary display is what makes this laptop so special, granted that the only thing the display lacks is a refresh rate of 144hz.

But other than that, it’s totally worth it, which makes this worthy of being on the list of the best laptops under 600 for gaming.

Pros
  • 16GB DDR4 RAM
  • 256 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD Storage
  • 17.3 inch, 3840 x 2160px resolution, IPS Display
Cons
  • Intel Core i7-6700HQ CPU, 4cores/8threads 2.6 GHz 3.5 GHz

5. HP Pavilion 15 Laptop – 15t-eg000

HP pavilion 15 best laptop under 600 for gaming
ProcessorIntel® Core™ i5-1135G7 up to 4.2 GHz 4 cores/8threads
Ram8 GB DDR4
Graphics CardIntel Iris Xe Graphics
Storage Space512GB SSD
Windows Windows 11 Home
Display15.6″ FHD, IPS, anti-glare, micro-edge, WLED-backlit,1920 x 1080px resolution

This one tops out as the most latest gaming laptop in this list, with a price tag of just $520. This is the cheapest and the latest laptop in our list.

We have the latest processor, the latest windows , good amount of ram , accurate display and a sufficient amount of storage space.

I mean what more could we want?

The Pavilion 15 is a brand new gaming laptop, so naturally, it comes with a warranty as well, just in case things go south, but that’s very rare.

This laptop may not be the best for offline games, but it’s certainly really good when it comes to online multiplayer and Esports games.

You cant expect to run the latest AAA titles on ultra settings with this laptop, although you could do that if you get an external GPU, but if you don’t then not to worry!

This laptop is enough to run games till 2016 on low – medium settings and Esports games such as CS:GO and Valorant on medium – high settings.

The Processor

Out of all the laptops we’ve reviewed so far, the pavilion 15 has the latest processor. The Intel Core i5 1135G7.

With a base speed of 2.4Ghz and a turbo boost speed of 4.2Ghz, this makes the i5 11th generation one of the fastest processors in this list of the best laptops under 600 for gaming.

The Processor was released in 2020 as part of the intel “TigerLake” processor family, and is said to be one of the most successful 11th generation Intel Processors.

The 4 cores and 8 threads make it enough to run modern games all the while maintaining a TDP of 12watts, showing us that the i5 11th generation processor delivers maximum performance all the while consuming a little amount of battery life.

intel i5 1135G7 benchmark
Source: CPUbenchmark

Out of all the laptops we’ve reviewed so far, the i5 11th generation processor scores a 10,395 on the CPUMark test. Second only to the AMD Ryzen 5 5500U CPU, which scores a 13000 on the CPU Mark test.

But what the benchmark really tells us is that the 11th generation i5 delivers a breathtaking performance under $550.

Apart from that, we can see that the i5 1135G7 easily out performs many of the processors in this list, which further signifies that the processor is capable of delivering top notch gaming performance.

Supported Technologies:

  • Intel Smart Sound
  • Intel Hyper Threading
  • Wake on Voice
  • Intel HD Audio
  • Intel Turbo Boost Technology

RAM

The Pavilion 15 has 8GB of RAM, 8GB has basically become a standard for gaming laptops, you won’t get any less than that, which is good. So 8GB of ram is quite enough for gaming on this laptop.

Storage

Like all the other laptops we’ve reviewed on this list, the Pavilion 15 also comes with 512GB SSD. The SSD is an NVMe SSD M.2, slightly faster than the traditional NVMe SSDs in other gaming laptops.

So faster load times in games are inevitable and ultimately will make your gaming experience smoother.

Graphics Architecture

So far we’ve reviewed laptops with dedicated graphics cards, but one thing which i admit really lacks in this gaming laptop is a dedicated GPU.

The Pavilion 15 doesn’t come with a dedicated GPU, instead it comes with an integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics processing unit.
